On Tuesday, 9/21/2010, Paul Stallings (PAL) met with Herman Calderon (Giffen & Hackett), Cinzia Cera (Montessori), Mark Stempel (Hackett) and Akili Duncan (Delaware) about incentives for chess coaches to participate in PAL programs and extend their chess sessions to FREE local tournaments. Many had been invited to jump start the scholastic year. More coaches and schools are still being sought to participate in the chess program. Outfitting of schools with chess equipment also discussed. Transportation help offered. The use of the permission slip (posted here on this website) may be useful to local coaches.
