Martha Rd 8 loss, Now 5-3: Three Games Left.

Game 1 of 11: Wednesday at WYCC (Google) in UAR Martha beat Sara Adel. Playing black against  Carissa Yip Martha lost on Thursday, dropping to 1-1. Friday as White Martha beat Dilbar Kamroeva to go up, 2-1. Saturday’s first game as black was a loss to Zhiria Paktinent Poshtiere to remain even at 2-2 going into game five on Saturday at 4:00. (White against Ariel Yuvika). Saturday featured two wins, the second one as Black against Maria Flores, putting Martha is a tie for 26th with four points.  Sunday’s 4:00 game Martha won playing Black against Ana Paula Condovi. Nov. 16 Martha “USA” Ready for the World

Played at LaSalle’s Hanner Building, 391 Western Ave., Albany on Nov. 16 to raise funds for Martha Samadashvili as she prepares for the World Junior Chess Championships Dec. 17-29 at the United Arab Emirates. Martha won the Unrated section 5-0 while 4 players tied for second at 3-2: David Rynkowski, Harold Wang, Collin Johnson and Sam Koblenski. Philip Sells and Peter Henner tied for first in the rated section with 3.5 points, while Tian Gao beat Nigel Galia to take third place with the only 3-1 score.
