Nice weather brought several kids and adults to come and enjoy playing chess at the Madison Avenue Fair on September 22, 2019.  Here are couple of photos from the fair. This has been a nice venue for last several years for Right Move to introduce chess to new players and a place for warm-up for others, before the first Right Move tournament on October 12, 2019 (National Chess Day) at Bethlehem Central Middle School.   Registration is Open and we look forward to seeing all the players and their parents and coaches there.

The Right Move Year End Picnic

Location: Christian Brothers Academy – CBA

The TRM season would not complete without our annual end-of-year picnic.  This year the picnic will be on June 19 at the CBA playground pavilion from 3 PM to 6 PM.  CBA is located at 12 Airline Dr, Albany, NY 12205 (Map).  

At the picnic we will present end-of-year AWARDS! 

AS ALWAYS, all are welcome to attend so feel free to bring a friend.  We encourage attendees to bring a dish to share. Please use our sign-up (this is a link) sheet to help ensure a variety of dietary delights.  

NEW THIS YEAR we will be offering a chess SIMUL.  So study up and bring and your skills if you are interested in facing off against our very own tournament director – Jon Leisner. 

So come on over for some fun, food and a chance to congratulate your TRM friends for their 2018-2019 season accomplishments.
