Send your choices for the top ten individual players from Make The Right Move at the end of June (after and including the Menands tournament) and earn the Prestigious Crow Award for bragging rights at having the best picks.  Simply put your names in order (first through tenth place) and send them to brjohn@juno.com before the May 5 tournament.  Check the standings on the website to see who the current leaders are as that may help you choose  since it is based on the entire year.  Winner will be announce at the picnic.  (In case of a tie the first one received will be the winner.)

With three tournaments to determine player of the year and the top ten individual players watch the calendar to see who wilts under the pressure.  May 5 at Henry Johnson Charter School sets the stage for the final two events at Montessori Magnet School on June 4 and at Menands Union Free School District on June 11.  Even if you don’t understand the moves show your appreciation for the hard work and accomplishments of our young champions by witnessing history in the making.  Don’t miss out on the FREE picnic at Christian Brothers Academy on Wednesday, June 20 from 4:00 – 7:00.  Remember to sign up, and bring the family.  Hot dogs, hamburgers, watermelon, ice cream, apple pie and good Indian food as well.  Suggestions brjohn@juno.com will receive careful consideration and a quick reply.
